Norton is way to processor intensive. We've got McAfee on all business machines and have never had a problem. If you're on broadband, set it to update every couple of hours. Bingo - no problem.

And for those running Exchange Servers, ScanMail blows everything out of the water.

you gotta be really careful about Anti Virus Programs and Photoshop if you use Photoshop.

Three of my total tried out installed Anti Virus PRograms messed up my Photoshop font library and the initialisation engine, causing a major slow down and run instable on the entire program.

You want to make sure that does not happen when you run Anti Virus Software.
Btw - it is gone now, I am just installing and deinstalling the software for the Anti Virus tests.

Mystika,

I have PS 6.0 and Norton on win2000 professional. Totally messes PS up so i can only have norton installed, run virus checks, then uninstall it again in order for me to work in PS.

I still haven't had any trouble; have Norton 2002 w/ XP os w/ my PS 6.0.
Maybe it is because we have different os and a/v versions?
