candle in glass on shelf above computer exploded
wax all over, table, mouse, keyboard (but not that bad on keyboard)
my hairy forearm is still covered
worst part is i burned both pads on thumbs on the glass
i 'm on 4th icecube
do you know how long it takes to melt an icecube with thumb?
i could tell ya
both thumbs
blisters are starting to show
spacebar hurts
holding fork to eat hurts - have to hold like a 2-year old holds a tripfat crayon
anything involving either thumb hurts
damn, this sucks

is this karma for lazy day kite flying?

Ouch!!! What a bummer. Burning any of your digits is terrible because of all the nerves there. As I watch the ice cubes melt in my coca-cola I'll be thinking of you

I can actually be off the cubes for a few minutes now.

The candle didn't exactly explode. It was in glass on a shelf. When it burned down, the wick tilted and was heating the side of the glass. Part of the bottom blew out and hot was went spillng all over. So it did explode, but it didn't. I'll be wearing band-aids for a few days. I can't wait for the skin to come off.

Can't exactly sue. It came with a warning sticker. Besides, I might be doing the lady's website soon (home made candle like what my wife does, but she mostly does soap and similiar aroma things).

Drac, sorry about the pinky. But congrats on the job. Kudos, bro.

Leave the skin on you fool!

You should never burst a burn blister unless it get's infected! Trust me, It's heal quicker.

Burn soothe cream can still seep through the blister.

Oh, I'll let nature take it's course. It's more comfortable and I can't wait for it (but I won't push it). This might be a good chance to test LED therapy for myself. I never did like our alarm clock...

how's the digits today?

when I was a kid, I picked up a penny that had been sitting on the stove while some cooking was being done. I couldn't remove the ice for probably 6 hours without getting real squirmy. It sucked the next day even. take care of yourself.
