Preserved Topic: Developing for Microsoft CE (Page 1 of 1)

Just wondering if anyone has any info on writing apps for MS WindowsCE? I was looking around and found the SDK for it but would like to have some additional info.

Has anyone tried it or anything?

I know VB so I thought that I would try my hand at the embeddedVB.

umm are you talking about the old WinCE or the newer releases (Pocket PC)?

I got a dev-guy at my dept who has written db-driven stuff for the MS Pocket PC. I can try to get hold of a few resources for you tomorrow.. oh, wait make that wednesday. (wall-to-wall meeting day tomorrow )

Yes the PocketPC stuff. Any resources would be great. Thanks and Wednesday is fine, I have plenty on my plate for right now but it would be nice to have the resources for later.

as I recall there is a MS Visual C++ for WinCE edition.

lallous: MS has an SDK that you can download for developing for the PocketPC but it is 340m! I'm going to have to order the CD.
