This might be of interest to some of you.

The Canon Digital Creators Contest just opened accepting worldwide entries.
The winner in each genre gets US$ 20 000 and it's open to both pro's and amateurs.

Genres:
- Digital Photo
- Digital Film
- Digital Graphics/Illustration
- Web

The contest closes 3rd of Sept.
Last year they got 6209 entries from 57 countries.

Yeppers, that looks like a real competition, worth trying for! I notice the web division is judge by Josh Davis and the folks from tomato, good for josh! I do also notice that every winner in the web category for the last 2 years, each and every one of them, has been for a flash presentation, and with Josh Davis as the judge, I figure that maight not change this year either. Sigh, where's the respect for the DHTML creators amongst us? We have till September, so I figure I'll work on some ideas, may as well enter anyway, even if it won't be flash for me, heh heh.
