I don't have powerpoint, so I don't really remember. But I vaguely remember right clicking on it and going to some dialog box where there were tons of options and a list of all the media clips in the slide, and I think you could set it there... you might have to look through all the menus. |

Skatefx: As far as I'm aware you can only insert sound clips into slides not the whole presentation (although it might depend on the version of Powerpoint hmmm... just checked a book on Powerpoint 2002 and it only mentions using clips in slides). It would be odd that you couldn't do that but that is no guarantee. I'd go with what majhqa said. |

NJ: Thanks for that - I've filed it away for future reference - should we have a section in the FAQ for office (with a small 'o' - Star Office should really take a hold soon I notice a lot of PCs shipping with it as standard) application questions? Things do come up here from time to time. |

That's not a bad idea. Believe it or not, I got my Associate's Degree in Computer Science with an emphasis in Computer Applications... basically, I know more about Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint than most people care to. Though it doesn't seem like much, I've become the Marketing Department's first call for any Office questions. Turns out I.T. knows how to install it, but can't use it worth anything... |

OK I've created a whole section here (so feel free to add content - Wangenstein you could even save yourself time by directing people to the relevant FAQ!!): |

For PowerPoint 2002 that option doesn't seem to work, because It's no their!!! |
