I get a few laughs out of this forum every day (mostly because the crazy kids there don't listen to reason), but I found this thread particularly amusing:

Well lets see, to recap these people are praising an artist who obviously took the text and character from another site, placed it on a black background and used the paint brush and swirl filter. Is that a smoke filter I see?

To top things off we have quotes like 'Hell yea dude, thats fly as hell. I need to hack adobe photoshop 7.0 on my computer at home. And then i need to get some skills on it.' and 'wow nice was the smokish around the sword done with PS? if it is i have underestimated the goodness of this program'

But whats really horrific is not only do you visit this forum, but post on other forums about how you visit that forum. Sorry.

So I don't know, I sometimes miss these truly basic functions, getting all wrapped up with things like Gaussian blur and Lighting effects, please can somebody tell me where the "Generate Death Knight" functions live? I wondering what other options might be available to me, yum!!!

It's in the same menu as "Generate cool inverted ripped n00b background"
and just below the "Adobe this!" command.

I have never found commands like that in PS sound good though. Imagine all the time I would save doing my artwork! just pushing one button and bang it's do, what a time saving options.

God all this ripping, spamming, fu**ing ups, etc is just a pain in ass, and dam I knew there was forums out there that are just full of crap, but this take the piss. Shame to the people who are apart of it.

hardy har har. Well to be fair, it is a forum for discussion of a blizzard game, and as anyone who has ever been on b.net knows, blizzard games are lamer musk. I've yet to find a warcraft III forum without it's share of morons.

I hear their going to put a "generate Masterpeice" option in PS 8. Man, I can't wait.... Oh, hang on, they already have that in IE. It's called "Save Image As"... Cool! Well I'm off to generate my masterpiece now.

WJ I notice you used your spiral-out version of mahjqa's fire as your lil corner sig there, only its blue, and the backround doesn't match, and it's hella ugly...

Insider, the colours on the avatar don't really matter because there are several different templates for those boards. What looks good to me, might not look good to someone else. Although, there are a few tricks I could pull so it looks decent on all templates. Alas, I'm too busy having fun with other things to change it.

WJ: first of all, that is hysterical (the "filter set"). What is even more hysterical, though, is that some guy wants to download the set!
