Hi guys.. I would like some opinions and suggestions about a book for PHP and MySQL. I would really like to learn it. I feel so lost without knowing anything about databases and how to even write a simple MySQL table.. |

I was looking at a good PHP book over in Borders the other night. I can't remember which for the life of me, but I'm almost certain it was an O'Reilly book. You really can't go wrong with anything in that series IMO. I own several and they always come highly recomended. |

The one I read was PHP: Your visual blueprint for creating open source, server-side content by Paul Whitehead and Joel Desamero. Hope it helps, I don't know how much it will suit your needs, but it was very helpful to me. |
