Ok we all know I'm slower than cold glue so here's my latest stupid question.

Outlook look express inbox. 'Right' clicking on an email then 'properties' , you're presented with another window at the bottom of which you will find "Message Source." Click on that and scroll down past all the info you *eventually* get to the actuall email.

So my question;... is looking at the message this way...from "message source" the *same* as opening the email directly from the 'inbox?' If it is *not* the same, what's left of my brain tells me this could be a safe way to look at forwarded mail or mail from someone you don't know. Yes No?

You're right, viewing message source is not the same as viewing the message by double-clicking on it. And yes, it's a secure way to view messages, as long as you disable preview pane underneath inbox, which shows messages as you select them...

Hey there Max! Thanks.... What got me wondering about this.....is that new mail, in the inbox is always in BOLD and I 'right' clicked on an unread message, through to, 'message sources' ....read the message like I said... and when I returned to the inbox the message was *still* in 'bold.' It in fact had not been opened. Yup I sure am technical alright! LOL! again Thnx
(happy b-day btw, same day as me.)
