checking in...
I havn't been around too much as I have been a bit "ill"
Today the doctor says I probably have Labyrinthitis. This causes me to be dizzy... in a bad way.. kinda like being sea-sick all the time. I can hardly walk or even drive a car.. all I can do is lay there and drool. cuz if I move.. so does my entire world. He has given me some "motion sickness" drugs to help, but there is really no known way of dealing with it.. i must let the infection run it's course.. which may take many weeks.

If it gets worse, I may need an MRi

I just thought I would share that with you all. Other than that I am still alive.

thanks.. I have read a littile about it before.

The bottom line is...if you every get this.. or an inner ear infection... be afraid.. be very afraid. It totally sucks

Is like getting dunk, but without the drink.. your totally consious of your surroundings, which spin all about. Your only escape is to sleep, and you can only do that for so long.

I liked that movie... But I did think David could have done without the tights; a guy that skinny really doesn't have much to show off....

Labyrinthitis... hmm... sounds a lot like Vertigo. Not a pleasant condition either way... Hope you get better man.

wow man that is really shitty. Hope you get well soon. . .

So if you don't mind telling us, what caused this. I read through some of the pages but it never really says what causes this.

I had a freind in college that was broad sided by another car. After a few weeks he started to get real bad dizzy spells. He was pretty much in the same situation as you. He couldn't move a lot because he would get sick to his stomache. One thing that he did do (and I am not a doctor and wouldn't recomend this) was to smoke a joint and just lay down and fall asleep. I doubt that a doctor would recommend this though.

Hope you get well soon.!!!

Thanks guys..

lol I never seen this "david Bowie movie" and from the sound of it.. I don't plan on anytime soon.

As far as the cause of it.. who knows... The Doc says it is a virus-type infection.. thats why I have no real medicine for it.. I have to let it run its course. If it was a bacteria-type, then I would have medicine. The problem now, as it stands, is, if it gets worse I have to go in for an MRI... sometimes this condition is caused by a tumor that grows in the "Labyrinth" part of the ear. I just pray its no tumor.. I don't have that kind of cash to undergo the surgery.

anyway.. I suppose I shall crawl to the couch and watch TV.

Witherin.. I have not installed ICQ since my last "format c:\" so I'll do that in a bit.. it'll give me something to do for a minute hehe
