Preserved Topic: to stock photo or to not stock photo... (Page 1 of 1)

I was curious were you guys get your photos from for websites you do for clients. Do you actually take the photos yourself, do you get them from your clients, or do you purchase stock photos in cd's? I've been taking my own photo's but I'm thinking about doing stock photos at places like http://www.gettyworks.com or http://www.eyewire.com What do you do?

Almost always when I need something, I make it myself. People keep telling me that it's stupid and time-consuming, but I learn a lot from it

I personally do both .. but I also get pictures from the clients .. and mess around with them and stock photos to make them my own ..
