I am registered wit Bulkregistry and have contacted them just now. But, wanting more insight on if I can register it myself without going to the old host. If they give you any problems then you need to do a domain transfer to a different registrar. As long as your email address is in the admin contact info for the domain you will not have any problems making the transfer at register.com or godaddy.com (or others I would imagine.) Unfortunately we aren't going to be able to process the registrar transfer for you at this time. The whole process takes about 2 weeks, but your domain expires today. You're going to need to contact bulkregister.com to renew your domain this time. If at any time after it's renewed you'd like to transfer it to us you can do so from domainitron. Sorry about that. If there's anything else we can do for you please let us know and we'll be happy to help you out. Hi Allgood,

Your best best is to contact the registrar like you've done already. If they give you any problems then you need to do a domain transfer to a different registrar.
