Yes I want to know how I can extract the icons from the
following path:

%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll

did you try opening it with PS? or an icon editor?

"%SystemRoot%" represents folder where Windows is installed, usually it's "C:\WINDOWS", so that path translates to "C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll". Now, simply open that dll with icon editor. If you don't have one, take a look at IconShop...

Xdreamer.ch: Iconman will go through your drives and extract all your icons for you (it then allwos you export them) - I can't find the homepage but you should be able to get it from one of these sources:
