I know this has been done before...
But do any of you guys play Quake?

(and if any) do you play with any clans/teams?

i played all quakes to the end. II is the best
i played qIII online for a while, but i didn't join a clan or somthing

im doing single player only! or LAN sometimes. all 3 of them.

Yep I do too!!, I have Q2, Q3A and not getting Q3TA cus it's just crap compared to Q3 IMO!. Never played online because I just take?s to long to connect and play. So never have played in clans/teams.

I did play this a lot over LAN and it was fun but then CS took over and Quake just faded away. But I still play it at home in single player.

I played Q1 & Q2to the end back in the day. They were awesome. I played Q3 to the end but just because I didn't have any other new games at the time. It was ok but got old real fast and I wouldn't even consider still playing it now; it's graphics just don't cut it and haven't for a while.

I played Red Faction single player to the end and online for quite a few months. It was a wicked multi-player game. Don't play much anymore because I got tired of modders and the boring stock levels.

EG

I played all guakes to the end. Q3 is my favorite, then Q1.
Q1 simply smashed all the other games at the time (imo)
Q2 gameplay wasn't as punchy as Q1.
Q3 is as fun,fast & furious as Q1, the gameplay is wonderful.

I never played in clan nor team, but played Q1 & 3 a lot in LAN. BTW I prefer from far 2vs2 games 'cause they are quite technical

I haven't played it for a while but I have played *many* hours of all the Quakes over the last several years. Excellent game.

I agree, Q2 rules. The rail is gun is so more satisfying then in Q3. Also, Edge is just one of the best levels in any FPS Although I do fancy Tokyo Towers a lil.

Even when I installed Quake 3 I had to download an Edge conversion just to feel at home again. Its here if any of you still play it.

How about startin up a clan?

I've played Doom, Doom II, Quake, Quake II and Heretic. Each one was great at the time. Doom is unforgettable, although now it's just part of the FPS history.
Recent good FPS games I've played: NOLF, RtCW and Mohaa (I have a site dedicated to this last one game).
I didn't like Quake III and Half-Life.
All FPS games I play are single player. Never tried multiplayer or LAN or the like.
