I'm trying to set a extraction path, what is the path for the desktop?

I already tried '$Desktop' & '[Desktop]' & '#Desktop#' anyone know the correct method?

Thanks in advance,

No that's not what I mean... I can't use just an absolute string.

example, the path to my desktop is 'C:\Documents and Settings\MasterAccount\Desktop'

and they could have it set to anything, nothing saying they will even be using the 'C:\' for it either

So I need the static variable for it, if I just use you 'c:\windows\desktop' then it will only work for a very select group of people. I already know most of the static variables for other programs and installers but I can't figure out what it is for WinRAR and the readme wasn't any help.

%USERPROFILE%\Desktop <- is for NT/2k don't know what is the variable for w9x.

also are you sure that WinRAR can expand these environment variables into their values?

Win 9x should be %desktop%. If not, try %system%\desktop or %systemroot%\desktop
