| Maniac (V) Inmate From: out of a sleepy funk |  posted 07-29-2002 21:57 Hey there, having some trouble here with an executable file crashing everytime I start a W2k laptop. When starting the computer a DOS box hangs and pages Dr Watson. The DOS window and error message both call the executable DIT.EXE. I'm having trouble getting any info on this, everything I find appears to be in the Dutch language, not sure it's Dutch but there's lots of double vowels thrown around. | 
| Maniac (V) Mad Scientist From: Belgrade, Serbia |  posted 07-29-2002 22:15 I guess that you're getting a lof of Dutch sites as result, because "dit" probably means "the" or "that" in Dutch language (and your "dit.exe" becomes "the exe" or "that exe"). So, I don't know if all those Dutch sites would provide you with the answer... |

That was actually a RAID troubleshooting utility and I've done a fresh format on that laptop just last week, all I'd installed on it since is Office2k and some digicam utilities so I dun think it had anything to do with RAID stuff, I'm a little confused but reformatting it just cuz, no biggie, it's a just a test machine. |
