I need some money. Even the 4x5 tablet is out of my price range.

I think I may buy a cintiq one day. Luxo's alwasy at me to get a graphics tablet, so I may as well get a contiq, since buy the time I get it it'll be old tech.

I find the screens really annoying.

There's a certain "give" to them when using the tablet, and it causes a warping in the look of the pixels on the LCD. Nothing major, but just enough to keep throwing me off.

They look great...but the tech needs to catch up a bit before I'd say that they're *that* much better than a USB tablet. Honestly, the price is complete foolishness for a piece of hardware that shouldn't (opinion) be proposed as alphaware yet.

I have never seen a Cintiq but they look really neat. I was watching something on Tech TV that said they are making the CIntiq screens to mimic a paper like feel. Plus the Cintiqs are pretty expensive I think.

I have an Intous 2 and it's great even though I dont use it much at all but I should be using it more.

Olsson: see, most people here have these things called bills to pay. Alot of inamtes also have these families to feed. So your remark still remains completely idiotic because obviously you still live with your parents and work at McDonalds or something for the sake of extra cash to burn. Saying "if you can't afford to spend $100+ you must be living in a box" is just ignorant.

Point taken. But i figure that most of the people on this forum have photoshop. And photoshop isn't cheap! If you buy photoshop and wan't to use the drawing capabilites to the full than an extra $100+ isn't much. Then if Photoshop is your hobby I think that everybody even though they have family and bills to pay it is possible to save some money each month to get an wacom. But this doesn't mean that everybody needs to buy an wacom because its just a tool you'll just do fine with an brush and some cloth.
Buy an wacom if you need one but don't starve your children!
This "misunderstanding" would never happend if I learnt to use the "rolleyes" slimie. I thought it would be clear that i'm sarcastic when I have been that in every forum the last month! From here and on i will only post slimies so there will be no misunderstandings!

If anyone in here is like me they didn't exactly pay full price for photoshop. I uh, got mine on ::cough:: discount ::cough::
