Hi there

Need help. what means "screen" in the layer viev? i use a german version of photoshop., and i can't find something like "sreen". there is "normal, sprenkel, abdunkeln, multiplizieren etc." but nothing about how sounds like "screen". some idea?

Ich versuche aus dem Toturial "glass" zu machen. Da alles auf englisch ist, und ich die deutsche Version von Photoshop verwende, finde ich im Layermodus nichts was auch nur annähernd nach "screen" klingt so wie es verlangt wird. Kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen?

Screen is usually " eine Leinwand"

I am at work right now and unless someone can give you a better answer, I will have closer look later at the Tutorial and see in what context it is used.

I'm not 100% sure about it but I think it's just called "Normal" in the German version.

wasnt it farbig abwedeln or so? dont remember.

anyways, why dont you just try them all out till you find the desired one?

My hunch is abdunkeln .. it filters out or reduces some of the color intensity in the active layer. In PS 6 (eng. version) it is the 4th item on the list. I would assume the functions are in the same spot except the name is changed.
