Anyways: whats your favorite game, computer of video game?

Mine are System Shock 2 (the horribly undderrated) and Baldurs Gate II (The most immersive game EVER)

Well, that link doesn't work for me...

But favorite video/computer game... I generally go for RTS games, even though this computer has a hard time with them... Total Annhilation is pretty good. Dungeon Keeper isn't bad, nor is Populous. But then I'm just going for what I can make work on a 133 cpu and 32 mb RAM...

after draping heavy blankets over all the windows and playing at least 10 hours a day for a month straight i'd have to say baldur's gate (1 or 2) takes the prize.

oregon trail is pretty righteous though...

I thoroughly enjoyed System Shock 2. Half-Life was an awesome game as well. Warcraft 2 takes the cake as my biggest phase though, great game that was.

Yup, FinalFantasyTactics...one can play it for years, and still not exhaust all the possibilities in the game...don't know of any other game with this sort of 'replay' value...

Well, the only real game I've played since university is Neverwinter Nights, which would have to be my current favorite. I just finished the single-player campaign with a 19th lvl monk--I was very disappointed not to make level 20.

My favorite video game used to be Shinobi--must have something to do with my habit of throwing shuriken at people. That was one weird game if you think about it, though.

Thr main game I have played constantly over the years is Civilization. Its like crack for me. I start in the evening all of a sudden there are birds chirping outside. Ive lost a lot of nights to this game.

My other two current favorites are NWN and Starfleet Command 2. Which is the video game remake of starfleet battles, a board game I used to play back in the day.

I've never been able to click "Save Target As..." on any link, file, page, anything... ever. I just have a stupid computer you say? Well, you're right, but still...

Let's see. I've only got a GBA and my computer but...

On GBA:

I LOVE Golden Sun! It's this rockin' RPG! I also have Breath of Fire I which is awesome once you get past the not-so-superior graphic quality.

On the computer:

Well, I play Lord of The Realm II a lot, but I get bored unless I'm doing two player (via internet of course). Umm...I get bored really easily. I played Baldur's Gate but I'm not into the real-time fighting...I get freaked out too easily and I'm not quick about stuff. LORII real-time battles I can do because when you're fighting from or at a castle, there's a set of things I know I need to do and nothing moves fast. So I stopped playing BG. But it was fun while it lasted.

Space Empires III was really fun for a while, but I got bored w/ it by myself. Now I play that and SE IV w/ friends only.

Oh! Decker is a REALLY fun freeware game. I got it at umm... some game site. But I love it!! You get to be a hacker and do all sorts of stuff. Not so great graphics but once you get up to the higher levels it get's really fun and challenging.

Anywho, I guess I SHOULD get back to work huh? LOL

Jesus, how could I forget! Grand Theft Auto III! That is the most addictive game ever.

Well...I was guessing that FFT was Final Fantasy Something'r'other. Actually, I've played 1-7 several times, and love them all, but I no longer have a PlayStation. (crys) now I have to play FFT. Anyways, the screenshot was of me engaged in a massive, set battle in W3 with 1 second left on the clock my base was overrun and the last building was destroyed.

Favorite Consol Games: Megaman X-X3, X5 &6, The Legend of Zelda (The original for SNES), Pilot Wings 64, Star Fox 64, Super Maro World, Mario 3 (regular NES), Mario 64.

PC Games: Warcraft 2, Warcraft 3, D2x, But the best game EVER, consol or PC, is without a doubt, Starcraft. Nothing can beat SC.

A game that I can play for hours and hours, is Ascendancy, a sort of Civilization in space. It must be one of the most underrated games ever, cause almost noone have heard about it.

Whats Ascendancy, I think my friend has it, is it an old space exploration style game? I think I'll try it. IMHO though, System Shock 2 is the MOST underrated game OF ALL TIME. If you haven't played it then do. Seriously.

anyone a fan of the MOO (masters of orion) series? i really hope the third one coming out soon is good stuff...

colonization was 100 times cooler than civilization.

i remember the coolest conquistador-esque game on my apple iigs, i think it was something about the seven cities of gold. between that game and all of the tsr d&d games my childhood was ruined.

Some of the TSR games were great, I was never into role playing games, but I loved the Eye of the Beholder trilogy.
Starcraft is my favorite game of all time though.

Yeah bacon, you're right about that. I think you should try it, but only when you got a lot of time left, it is HIGHLY addictive (In my opinion)

GTA3, Gran Turismo3, UT, D II, Undying, Half Life, mhmmm.....BUGS slice puzzle is also just great!
