We looked at here at work(caused a flurry of checks and then laughs here in Augusta). It looks like it gets more accurate the closer you get to large metro area. The salaries for Augusta were quite off. |

It looks a little high for my area. However that being said, I'd bet that in my area there are many people who have had their jobs for a year or two are being paid much higher than those who are now coming in at the same position. It's just a result of the current economic climate. People who got hired in web development were at a premium 2 years ago and could get top dollar where as now it's so much harder to find work that employers are paying much less for the same (or more even) talent. |
