Whenever I try to load up my hotmail account using Windows XP, it freezes when I click on Inbox. I know that this could possibly be a problem with XP, since my friends comp does it to, but Microsoft failed to document it. Could someone help me PLEASE!

Thanks...

Hey cfb... is it just me, or have I not seen you in a while?

I have XP as well, and I have never frozen when clicking on Inbox. I've had numerous other problems with Hotmail, but it's never frozen my system. Usually it takes Neverwinter Nights to do that.

I also use XP and have never had this problem.

Are you sure it wasn't just happening at the time you were trying? Have you tried to access it recently?

Another way would be to sign into MSN Messenger and check your e-mails from there (no need to click on "inbox")

Apart from this i cant think of anything else you can do. I hope this has been of some assistnace to you

Try upgrading or reinstalling the browser, perhaps.

I had something like this before involving Hotmail.. my browser would freeze when I tried to log in. I asked MS about it and they said something was wrong with my virtual machine? At the time I didn't know wtf a VM was so I took their advice and downloaded it, which ended up fixing the problem.

*shrugs* That doesn't seem like it's the case though.

Thanks, MSN Messanger works fine, and I just contacted MS about the problem, seems that about 10 other people have had the problem. It involves my video card (?!?!) Anyways, thanks...and no, I haven't been around, just busy I guess, and Ireformatted my C:\ drive on accident. I couldn't figure the problem out for like a week.
