Never updated my Mcafee in 2 years- and I suffered the repercussions. Last week I got the Wink Virus and it buried itself deep into my computer. I have 56k modem and surfing the net was so damn slow! Also my computer was always trying continuously trying to connect to the internet not allowing me to shutdown. The nice folks at www.mcafeehelp.com assisted me and I was able to locate the virus and delete it. Paid $39- but it was well worth it-spent about 1/2 hour searching for and deleting Wink.

I am now happy to say things are ok again and I promise to always update my antivirus software.
