I just got an e-mail from someone who dug up one of my posts from a long time ago and I just wanted to pop in and say hello. What's been going on here lately? Still as active as it once was?

oooo... ya... been a while. Goin' okay fer me.
how's things, man?

Going well, going well. I've built the server and the software that runs http://www.timesnews.net - an adventure, really. It's on OSX Server, which was a gamble, but it worked out ok.

I've found myself moving more towards a technical career involved with programming, system administration, data... less design. I suppose it's not as romantic, but I've never been the greatest artist around, especially since my latent talent is low; I believe if I went to a good art school for a number of years I could be decent... but my career is well on its way and it's not about graphic design. As an example, you can see my personal site redesign effort here: http://createch.net/images/++V.jpg ... I believe I am going to trash most of it, though as it's sooo boring! I dig that Avenir font, tho.

Speaking of fonts, does anyone recognize this one: http://ocw.mit.edu/index.html (the logo/heading) ?

I am not real good at idetifying fonts, they start to run together after a while. But I think this may help you out though.

I went throught the font finder thing. The best that I could see was just plain old Helvetica.

Well, I have to say... the hearty welcome certainly draws me back in to forum life. It's not that I've shunned the Ozone community for another, it's just seemed hard to spend the time.
