Hey guys -- I just wanted to post a quick hello and introduce myself. I'm new to the board (well, dur), and while I pretty much know the ettiquet (i.e., don't act stoopid), I didn't know the formal procedures. So if an introduction is desired/required/demanded/etc... then, "hi."

Hey, have any of you folks ever played the Circle Game? You know -- it was about the fifth grade (or sophomore year of college...those two years kinda blur together) -- and you make a circle with your thumb and forefinger, and position it below your waist. If you can trick someone into looking, you get to slug 'em in the arm (and if you were particularly cruel, you'd oldskewl frog that sucker). Of course, they could counter your kung-fu by sticking their forefinger through your circle and break it, thus affording them the desired forearm beating.

Our football players played it for the last half of my senior year.

I didn't participate what with them mostly being stronger than me.

Aha! Where ISN'T it going?

It is not going up, or down. It is sliding slowly right to left, with a minor justification to its rotation every third movement, so therfor it is going slight more to the right, since the justification is to the right. Therfore, the main movement of this thread over time is infinitly to the right, despite the appearance that is is moving right and left.

I remember that pathetic game... It came around in 7'th grade for me. I hated it, not because I sucked at it, in fact it was the oposite! I was pretty good at slugging people in the arm. Behing the freshman in highschool that I am I enjoy trading licks with seniors, it's fun! And it makes my arm a little stonger every day heh....

But still I hated that game, just another annoying fad.

That sounds like a good idea--let's all trade licks with InSiDeR!
