Preserved Topic: playing .mov's and win themes (Page 1 of 1)

I just downloaded a .mov file, when I play it using WinMediaPlayer, it says "no combination of filters could be found to register the stream"

1)Do I need a plugin, how would I found out which?
2)Maybe you know how in linux you can use themes/styles, anyway can you do that in win98 for free besides using the windows appearence dialog?

2) i think you have to load a window-manager like "enlightment". but im not sure.

I was looking for something other that enlightment but there probably are not many choices.

well, im not a linux user and i guess there are not "that" many around here.
