Preserved Topic: Any Win 2k users?? I need help (Page 1 of 1)

I have been using Win2k with my profile as the Admin which is not so good if someone does gain entry to my system. I set up my profile for me to use and I have all kinds of folders and shortcuts that I can't get in my profile that are on the Admin desktop. How can I get these on my profile desktop....I have given the permissions to my profile for all the folders and shortcuts that are on the desktop but they still don't appear when I log into the profile that I set up for myself.....help

log in as admin and transfer or copy them from the admin desktop to the profile desktop C:\documents and settings\whomever\desktop

Ohh damn...explitive. Before I got your post I had just copied the items into a folder and shared then and moved them to the d-top and I did what you said all the items showed and I renamed the folder to the name I changed the use to and ti totally made a new profile for me and reset everything......now I need some serious help to figure out how to get back to normal. :-(

Well, for starters, you should probably stop taking those hairy pills...

hehehee....woudl help if I wasn't taking the hairy pills and having a few drinks too.....well I got it all fixed nothing like a good reformat....ahhh start fresh and clean.
