Ok...here it goes....I had just reformatted and reinstalled Win2k and installed PS and it worked fine in the Admin account and in the user account. So I sit down and try to fire up PS and I get the message that it cannot start because of a program error. I restarted and tried again, no luck....I logged into the Admin account and tried it and it worked fine. Logged out and into my account and still cannot start because of program error. Now is this a Win2k issue or PS??

I don't think that it is a Win2K error. Try to either re-install PS or install the latest update for PS (if you already haven't).

I think you need to install it so it can be used by "all users". Maybe you could try checking C:\Documents and Settings\ and compare the folders "All Users", "Administrator", and "Default User" (hidden).

Or maybe you aren't a user with "admin powers". Try uninstalling (using Administrator a/c), then reinstalling using the Administrator a/c. Or change your "status" from a normal user with restricted access to an administrator.

Well I tried that and it is in the folder for all users and still will not work. I tried to share the folder but no luck.

I don't want to have that account an admin account though....thats the whole point. I want an account that cannot uninstall items but can use and save........I still can't get the thing to work....*fumbles through paper and books*
