Guys! think i'm kiddin huh?!

Juicing is far the most important thing to restore health and give energy...and mostly is very delicious ...

I've been juicing like 4 month now and I already ordered some books about how to make a good and loaded juice and fruits mixture.

Now as for grapes and other things like it are giving me hard times to extract their juice! (Cherry, strawberry, ...)

Skaarjj, good idea but not practical for home use!
Bugs, thanks this sounds a good juicer!
WebShaman, I already did...yumm, so tasty!

Whatever local department store in your area that carries small home appliances should also carry some model of home juicer. In the US, you can get one at Wal-Mart for about $70 USD.
Come to think of it, you can probably order one from Wal-Mart online...

see here

edit: my bad! The price has come down - $60 now...

Juicing is next to useless. The only good thing about juicing is that it gets people to consume more fruits and veggies.

You are much better off eating the fruits the veggie as is.

1) When you juice, you start to lose good things. For example, when you juice a lemon, 50% of the vitamin C is gone is 5 minutes. You also start to lose other good things like enzymes.

2) Saliva is a bigger part of the digestive process than most people realize. You don't want to gulp down your juice. You want to swish it around a bit before swallowing. This gives saliva a chance to start the digestive process. Of course, this kind of sucks with the above time constraint in mind.

3) Pulp and roughage help keep you "clean".

I was juicing for a few months. I kept doing research and realized that I was indeed better off just eating the fruits and veggies. (Besides, prep and cleaning up is a ton easier.)

I'm not saying you should give up juicing all-together. Just eat your fruits and veggies more than you drink them.

One of the most useful parts of the veggie, and least mentioned, is the fiber you get from them... But if you juice them, you're not getting much of the fiber anymore either...

Yes, I think there is some hype involved there. But regardless of the health pros and cons, I can say that you can make some very delicious drinks. Fresh carrot/apple juice is really great for example.

The manual that came with the first juicer we bought said to "chew" your juice, just like you said wj. It's a weird concept but I think that is important to do.
