Hah hah, may as well just resign now, maybe? What's his record, 59-0-0 or something like that? Still, you got the 3 wins so far, you're guaranteed a tie for second at the very worst!

It's me and Veneficuz this time around. Strangely enough, I'm undefeated, even though I actually only won one game (missed the first round, won the second by forfeit, and somehow managed to hold off BeeKay in the third). Looking forward to my last match.

Veneficuz: If I let you win, can I have that vorpal sword I mentioned?

He is the DM, after all...don't get him mad at you...or you may just get that Vorpal Blade...but not how you expected...hehe...

DM : Master Suhos character just lost her head...to the swing of that Vorpal Blade. What do you do?

You'd be better off to beat him...hehe...
So that when I lose to Sasha, you'll be 'tied' for 2nd place...

Didn't Ven get a point for me resigning? He was going to spank me pretty bad.

Casting Polymorph Other on a chauvenist pig to turn him into a female is pretty good torture. I don't think it is allowed in the spell description, but the DM allowed it just because.

Hey Ven, not to be pushy or anything, but I've noticed that at least two days go by between moves. Even at a move a day the game will take over a month (probably, unless one of us does something stupid). Just a friendly reminder.

I noticed that you and Sash aren't coming along too quickly, though. I was actually looking forward to seeing how that match shaped up....

Oh, I get it... you want me to distract Sash so you can go in for the kill...

But the game isn't over yet, and--as BeeKay pointed out--there is still hope. You may even pull out a win! Then we would have to have a rematch, I guess.

Thank you, V. It was a fun game, and there was a point there where you had me concerned--if you had pressed on along the same lines, you could have made life very difficult for me. Better luck next time.

Knowing when to resign is also a skill, actually, although not one that most players wish to cultivate.

Yes, I purposely paired these games up cause it looked like these folks all (with the exception of me) had dropped out of the tournament for whatever reasons. No big deal ... as long as everyone had/has fun, that's all that matters!

Heard about your win, Sash. Congratulations.

Although, there's at least one other participant who remained undefeated throughout the tournament... not that I'm challenging your title, of course. I'm content with joint second place with WS.

As for a new tournament, my schedule for the next few months may prohibit that, although I would like to join one from the very beginning to see how well I could do.

Veneficuz: Ah yes, I had forgotten as well. The comment I made was actually a quote from 'The Princess Bride' (If you haven't read it already, I would highly recommend it), and it refers to the fact that I used a Sicilian opening--the Sicilian Dragon, to be specific. I believe WS used it in his game with Sash, with less success. You might want to take a look at that game to see an example of where it didn't work.

Contrats, Sash. You bass-turd.

Mas and I are nearing the end game. Even though I was pummeling him early in the game, he really had me sweating there for a bit. I was was getting over-confident and complacent. Next thing I knew, he had *major* position on me. Remind not to do that again.

Even though I didn't win against WebS, I still consider it a victory because I really gave him a run for his money. Man, that game was intense. I still have nightmares.

I won't be in for the next tourney. If we go for a third, I might be in for that one. Right now, I need a chess break.

BeeKay, If you would have read above you a few posts you would have seen that maninacan bowed out of the game, so that means I won my game, I hadn't left the tourney I just finished early

So I didn't win the entire tourney, but I got 2.5 wins *not to shabby lol*

You planning to update the page again so we can see who all the winners were? Any plans for the next tourney?
