As you sit in front of your computer, you may think to yourself that you are probably not moving. That is a load of bull. You are in fact going exceptionally fast. The planet you are sitting on (not your chair, the stuff under that and your house) is spinning around. The planet itself is orbiting the sun. The sun is spinning around the edge of the galaxy. The galaxy is drifting out from the big bang.

Putting all these factors together, you'd have to say that the black hole in the center of the galaxy is moving at around 9000 or so km/sec.
