Hah! Oh I know that image really well, it's been showing up as a color mask on many of my images since 1995, I *love* that image! Hubble is cool, probably the first good use of government money in a *long* time!

Space. It's big, mostly empty, and freezing. A lot like Utah during the Ice Age, only a lot bigger. The only problem with travelling in space is that you need to fulfil a shitload of requirements and qualifications to be eligible.

Some wise-arse scientist with a talent for graphics has to have added that afterwards...but it would be cool if it happened naturally.
