Its similar to "why do poeple brake stuff?" or "why do people kill others?" its something they just want to brake other persons computer....

We have done so.

Just to add onto this great explination that Ini did. I also found out that sometimes hackers have something bigger in mind.
Some don't really want anything "on" your computer, they just want your bandwidth. They can "take down" a server if they overload
it with connections from other computers.

So, if I was running a program on my computer (and didn't know it) that was continually connecting to a certain server somewhere, and there were
countless millions that were running this same program, connecting to the same server, it would eventually crash the server. Now, I wouldn't know that it was connecting to this server, I would just probably notice that my computer was really slow while on the internet and blamed it
on my modem or ISP.

I think I explained that right. Step on in and correct me if I' mistaken.

CPrompt , wat u talking abt is referred to as DDoS.....and it recently took out seven out the eleven world DNS servers...almost crashing the internet...
Yannah: some of the virii are generated ( i believe ) by the same AntiVirus makers....
( how do expect them to earn a leaving )
