I hope it'll come true and be a good surprise. Leon was a great movie. In its time it made me think a little to Nikita ( also directed and written by Luc BESSON ), I can't help thinking a sequel to Leon could look like a mix between Leon, Nikita and Kill Bill. Can't wait to see Leon 2 or would I say Mathilda.

Mathilda is essentially the third movie in the world of Luc Besson's La Femme Nikita named after Natalie Portman's character in Léon, though many are dubbing Mathilda as Léon 2 or The Professional 2.

I never knew The Professional (as it's also called down under) and Le Femme Nikita had such similar roots, although now that I think about it, I'm not at all surprised.
