How much fun is this!
I just got myself an iMac and the www (including the Asylum) looks kinda diferent somehow.
I'm not sure yet, but I have a feeling I'm not going to miss Windoze (once I get used to the new keyboard that is!)

Psst!

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
Don't follow his example - seek real life help first.

OSX is slowly winning me over (with the exception of 'Safari'), but then again, it's only been an hour or so.

Nice one Dufty.
The first computer I used and was first introduced to PhotoShop was a Mac. I think They are gorgeous Have you noticed any difference in relative performance while using PS?

I haven't got around to trying Photoshop yet but I'm expecting a MAJOR change.
I used to run PS on a dual 750mhz PC with 640+MB RAM, this iMac is 333mhz with 196MB RAM... can't see it being anywhere close.

That's not why I bought it though... My PC sounded like a hurricane and there were cables everywhere. The iMac sits quietly in the corner of the lounge being a 'general purpose' family type computer for internet and email and suchlike.

Now that I've had a chance to play with OSX, I'm considering a new G5 dual to replace the PC though.

Psst!

After just one night, I'm completely sold.
Even on this relatively low end machine, PS works like a dream

Maybe I'm being a little premature but the PC looks like it's heading towards the classifieds!
