| Paranoid (IV) Inmate From: | posted 01-03-2004 15:47 Well that's different... I'm not a huge PETA fan but I'm on their side for this one. Seems like a case of scaring the hell out of some animal just for fun. Sounds yuck. I like the Queen though |
| Paranoid (IV) Mad Scientist From: Inside THE BOX | posted 01-03-2004 18:20 I've never had much respect for PETA, but they lost any I may have had for them in the future when they started handing these out to children outside a performance of The Nutcracker a couple weeks ago. |
| Paranoid (IV) Inmate From: | posted 01-03-2004 20:50 Pretty gruesome posters. I'd be mad if they gave one to my kids. That's way over the top for children and really makes it hard to like PETA even though I think they're right in many areas. Still, people who wear fur as a fashion statement... I don't know. I feel zero pity when they get cans of paint splashed on them. I don't think it's right to target their kids in this way though. |

| Bipolar (III) Inmate From: New York City | posted 01-03-2004 22:20 UC- I agree, but if you sprinkle some crushed red pepper, oregano . . . or if you are a little crazy- maybe put some hot sauce on it. pre-heat oven 450 degrees, while its still alive, tie its legs together with rope, blind fold it, put it on a baking sheet, and place it in the oven for about 40 minutes, take it out, flip it over, and another 10 minutes is fine. Some people prefer red wine, I like australian white- 1995 is a good year. |
| Nervous Wreck (II) Inmate From: Uranus | posted 01-05-2004 02:41 I saw one of their posters once which had the head of a cow dripping in blood impaled on a piece of wood... The caption said something like "MMMM... BEEF" |
| Maniac (V) Inmate From: under the bed | posted 01-05-2004 04:16 I agree with the basic tenents on which PETA was founded. |
| Paranoid (IV) Inmate From: Mexico | posted 01-05-2004 06:25 I have seen chickens being slain (i have to kill a couple of them once, it was very impressive for me to see the head still cluckin' about a couple of mineutes after being removed from the body), and i still enjoy them during my meals ^_~ |

| Maniac (V) Mad Scientist From: New California | posted 01-05-2004 12:01 PETA has gone off the deep end I'm afraid. It's a real shame too because they are not helping their cause at this point but simply turning people away from it. ~sigh~ |
