Okay, I'm trying to make a site for my band, but I have NO idea what to do. Could someone take me through ALL of the steps for what I have to do to make a good site? I also want it to be free and I want my own domain name. And one more thing, if I already have a template from a site picked out, can I use it with other web designing/hosting site things? |

If you have no idea what to do, why would you even try to make a site in first place? |

Get and read the book Web Pages That Suck. Do not scoff at the name, it is a serious book that will help you. It is well worth the money. |

Well, minus the whole "free" part... HOSTBABY.COM is the best host out there for musicians... and "HOW TO BUILD A MUSIC WEB SITE THAT SELLS" is the best book out there for musicians who want to build websites... and the last time I checked when you join with HOSTBABY.COM you get a free download for "HOW TO BUILD A MUSIC WEB SITE THAT SELLS". They could have stopped doing that though, so you might want to double check if you change your mind about the "free" part. Peace. |
