Sorry guys, I just have a little bit to get off my chest.... Wolfie just had the worst day of her life... This one ranks as a real stinker and really pushes my luck. I just hate to rant... but I feel that I need to get rid of this. I had one of the worst days of my life.... Car accident... and ending up in the back of a police car.... BAD DAY!.

I came out of mall of america on a left turn, fish tailed and ended up hitting a light pole. Near a cop of course. He pulled me over because I did not stop right away, (only because I was lookin for a safe place to pull over.. little did I know that not stopping right away would constitute as a hit and run. The area that I was in was a 6 lane road, it was not a good area to be in, and I did not have a cell phone to report it in, so what do ya do?) So I was put into the back of the squad car, but I was not arrested. After about 15 minutes of answering questions from the backseat, I was let go. The cop thought I was drunk, but of course I was not. At the end of searching my car and finding nothing there, I was let go. At the end of the whole thing, I was not arrested, and no ticket was issued. Fortunately for me the pole was not knocked over, and I did not see any damage to it. My car still runs, and I did not see any leaks. The fender is dented in, cracked, a portion of the grille is missing and a tiny bit of the hood is dented in. I, myself is fine... just a little sore... but I am so damn shook.... Parents are upset about it. I feel like I am going to cry.... I do not know what the hell to do.... I am still shook over this. Talk about stuff happening out of the blue. I streachted my luck a bit far... Not sure what is going to come out of this.

Sorry... I just needed to get this off my chest, I do not look for pity. Just a crap day. *climbs off the rant box.*

I am only suprised on how you would call this as your "#1 Bad Day"....perhaps you had worst days and you don't remember....

If I am asked what is the worst day, I cannot tell...everytime I forget about the most worst day it becomes a normal day till another a replaces it.

I'm just glad to hear that you're through it now Wolfen (crappy though these things are). As far as I can remember it's just the felines that get multiple lives

It could've turned out to be a much worse day in so many different ways. I've been in a number of accidents myself and know how much of a bummer they can be. I'm glad you're ok though and I hope you'll be over this soon.

Don't worry so much. It's just a minor car accident, with no injuries and no tickets. The cop who put you in his car was just doing his job, and was probably also just giving you a warm place to sit while he checked everything out. Think of the number of deaths a year from car crashes, and maybe you would realize that perhaps this was actually your best day. What if someone would of smashed into you? I don't know, it just seems like you are looking at all the negatives, and not the positives.

quote:
Car Accidents - In all, 42,850 people died, 1.7 percent more than the year before, the government said Wednesday. Alcohol-related deaths rose 3 percent to 17,970, the third straight increase after a decade of decline.

If you want to rant in person or have someone look at your car to get it checked out to see what, if anything, needs to be done to it feel free to E-mail me. I'll even buy you coffee. I'm only 20 miles away or so. Me, you, and MD could all get together, suck down some coffee, and feel better for having done so. Anyway... glad to hear you're safe. Cars are just things. If it still gets you from here to there and back again nothing else matters.

Well, this one really ranks up there in my book. This wolfie has not been in the back of a police cruiser before or possibly charged with a felony, but what could I do? The only other bad day that I can remember is the day my ex hurt me. That was bad too. Days that I want to forget. But I must say this... THANK YOU GUYS, I love all of you and I just love this place. I really appreciate your comments guys.

GD: I will email you when I can, but I need to get things straightened out when I can. I am literally screwed with my car because I only have liability on it. Atleast it runs and there are no leaks.

It could have been alot worse. But who has time for shoulda, woulda, couldas? Now that I think it over, I was lucky. Damn lucky.

Well let me add my comments too. I am glad you were not hurt and you were very fortunate to walk away from this thing with no more than being shook up. After a little while that will fade. Use this experience to learn how handle situations like this better in the future. Being shook up is actually a good thing, I think, because it focuses you on what you might have done better. But that's very wordy way of saying something soppy like "we love you"
