Wow. I just read this, and I was like "yeah, whatever..." and then checked my email and I have like 20 emails. It looks like my email was pretended to be used to send out other emails, and on top of that I've got about 15 copies of the virus right here. Crazy.

ok....forgive me for my ignorance but what does "Denial of Service" do? I've read some stuff but I think i am just confusing myself even more. From what I can tell it is to "overload" the hardware????......

also...what does port 3127 do?

Ini: yeah that answers it. i kind of figured out what denial of service ment but was a little unlear.

from the original link you posted it said that the denial of service was against "sco.com domain"
so, I am going to guess that they are wanting to take down this server.....???.....

seems kind of childish and vendictive if you ask me. As far as i can tell these script kiddies like to do this denial of service stuff just for the heck of it to see if they can bring down the server. Again, childish......

SCO is currently trying to usurp user fees from thousands of businesses that are using Linux {Flagship Open Source OS}. They claim IBM used their copyrighted code from Unix in Linux. They've also started lobbying congress to stop Open Source, their rationale is it is a terrorists easy acces to supercomputing.

Many are upset about the actions SCO has taken, apparently someone is using that animosity to their advantage..., either as a distraction or a vendetta. Some may even keep their windows pc infected in order to help crash SCO's website. Which of course would be silly because being a zombie PC cant be good.
