Preserved Topic: php: jpeg without GD (Page 1 of 1)

hello everyone,
I need to convert JPEGs into thumbnails.
Unfortunatly the enviroment (ie. the PsPong.com server) does not have GD installed.
Does anyone have suggestions what alternatives (apart from reimplementing the jpeg algorithm in php) are there?
Wedah suggested netPBM, but that would require compiling, and I'm not sure I feel like compiling for a unix platform from my windows box.

ts, installing and using an external util might also help.

search for thumbnail when you get there.

Yes, it's hosted at RunningWolf. No GD for now. I'm trying to work a solution into the long term plans of the site.
