Yah, this can be done with DHTML layers (divs), but it's not exactly easy, requiring a bunch of javascript to make it work. I've used it in my Trekker pages and been almost satisfied, and bunches not, and also in the Kungshamn pages and been somewhat happier. I plan on redoing this script to work *really* like I like it, but no time just yet, it can be a bitch to do right. Some of the others here must have pointers to a relatively easy example of this kind of thing? Speak up now! |

DHTML scrolling is a tough thing to master. I've been working on it for a while, and I still haven't ever gotten it right on the first try. How good are you with JavaScript and CSS (style sheets)? |
