I have a question that kind of relates to www.zerominuszero.net. The way you use frames to open on the right so it doesn't look obvious, can that be dont with tables? If i have a whole HTML page can i have it open in a table? I Have seen scripts that allow you scroll the text in a webpage with out moving the page is there a way to do it with a table instead?

Deviant,

I believe the quick answer to your question is "no". You can't put html content into a table structure and scroll it like a frame. The way to achieve that effect would be to employ the use of "layers" or "divs" in your page instead of tables. This can get somewhat involved but once you learn it, the results are quite satisfying.

There are a lot of people here doing some very impressive things with this method. If you want more details, just ask. <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/wink.gif">

Well now im asking. Do you know of a good site with information about the <div> command. I have seen it used but I dont fully understand it. Also the layers I would like to learn more about but I dont know where to start.

http://www.dansteinman.com/dynduo/ is pretty good. He shows how he built his own API. You can look at the source and get the idea.

A very good book on the subject is "Dynamic HTML, The Definitive Reference", an O'Reilly book (it has a flamingo on the cover). It details how to use <DIV>s for both IE and NS.
