.... and Damn!

Could you please take a look one more time mr. maX. I'm having almost the same problem with the script looking for an object in Compuseve but not in IE alone, only this time I don't think it's the page links at the bottom doing it, they look OK. It seems to be something with the navigation on the left side. I assume it must be because I am using the two of them together on the same page, because on any other page in the site that doesn't have the page links at the bottom, it doesn't happen. If you want to look at one of the other pages in question, here's one.

Thank you very much

maxMenu is missing.

BTW IE also reports the error (besides CompuServe's version), just take a look at the statusbar...

Sorry for butchering (no pun intended) your code mr. maX, I have no idea how I did that. I was copy and pasting from one header to the other and.... well...... I gotta stop do'in this stuff when I'm tired. That was a glaring mistake I should have been able to catch.

Thank you for your code, your help, and last but not least, your patience!

Marty

BTW, max, I think I must have deleted the installation files for your program, 'cause i can't find them... but I posted the error message in an old thread... I doubt you can find it, unfortunately. Maybe I'll download it again sometime (or find the file).

Speaking of which

Are you going to throw in a spell checker in the new version?

Also, when do you expect to release it?

Thanks

Slime, I think I remember what your error message was (something like "The parameter is incorrect" or "Canvas does not allow drawing").

Butcher, there's already a spell checker in current version 1.5 build 3700, but it requires that you have MS Word 97 or higher installed. In one of the next versions I plan to add support for ASPELL (very popular spell checker in the linux world, heh...)

jumping off topic with other beauty lovers, threep quipps:
"i would absolutely lurve an intuitive spell checker! basically, if one initiates a variable 'myNum', and all thru the code, you increment 'myNum', and one time, you type 'myNmu', or 'mYnum', it'll ask you about it....
but maybe that is a little too much of a daydream. maybe i should just pay more attention when i code."
