Here's my mission....

I want to include some buttons and stuff in one DIV if another DIV is more than x tall. Since that DIV is the one that holds my content, it is different for each page.

Is there a way to dynamically determine the height of a DIV?

linear - thanks for the link. It actually turned out to be object.clientHeight, which I found by looking through the info on the page you linked.

Thanks!

All right, then. For everyone following along, the front door is actually here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/c-frame.htm#/workshop/author/default.asp (that URL looks bogus, but it works, if UBB didn't munge it)

Every time I go into that site that way, I remember the scene at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark, where they file the ark away in a government warehouse with stacks of stuff in every direction as far as the eye can see. That's this site. Just try to find what you want.
