Where is the best place for a person to learn layers? I kind of have the gist of it, but I want to start from the beginning, since I'm having a bit of difficulty. A link will do fine. =D

As lame is this sounds, I found Dreamweaver to be a great way to cheat when working with layers. The drag and drop positioning gave me the ability to aleviate the guess work of the top, left, width, and height parameters or each layer as I could visually place them and then adjust them in the code as necessary. I am not a big fan of WYSIWYG editors by any means, but for this function I found Dreamweaver to be pretty slick. There is also a list of all of the attributes so that you can easily get familiar with them and visually see what they do.

Everything else is Javascript and CSS. Look it;s not that hard. CSS represents how something is represented and JS changes the CSS
