Your CSS definition is not the same as Bratta's. You must specify exact dimensions for #divCont and define clipping...

That's how it goes.

BTW You can also use <DIV STYLE="<put dimensions here>overflow:auto;">blah</DIV> to achieve scrolling using CSS only (this works in new web browsers only)...
