What do you guys think about using VBSCRIPT to code for games? DHTML games are cool and all, but can it do everthing vbs can?

See Visual Basic Scripting in action. People tell me I should uss CSS instead of a bunch of tables and people tell me that VBS is somehow better than DHTML for coding games, let me hear you out on this.

Visual Basic (incl. all derivates) is the shittiest programming language, period.

So, my suggestion is not to waste time with it...

Looking to get into programing myself, what does anyone recommend as a good place to start?

MalFunkShun, HTML and JavaScript is a good idea.

I have never used VBScript so I can't comment on it. However have you ever seen the site http://www.javascript-games.org/ They have JavaScript libraries for sprites keyboard input & sound.

I don't reccommend VB script at all, I don't reccommend ASP at all, I don't reccommend IIS at all. I don't reccommend MicroSoft at all.

It is all shit product, bloat ware, stuff that you should leave behind if you are really concerned with creating advanced server-client applications (i.e. web server/web pages).

Stick with the *nix envirorment. BSD = good too.
