C:/ thanks.

that is great, looks like problem solved. They say it would work on all browsers, is thistrue? I thought DHTML only came to light in IE4+ and NS6... I supose it will degrade in earlier browsers, can anyone let me know the effect?

anyway thanks again.

In my site, I use the menu from http://www.milonic.com/menu.
I like it a lot.

that is excellent, the site i am working on has to use frames (ahhhhhhhggggg errrrr /) so probably not perfect, does the layer across frame problem occur?

Next project hey.

Thanks FatRod

FatRod: By cross-browser people usually mean it works in the big 3 (IE 4/5+, Op5+ and NS6+) as well as NS4.x - I doubt they've tired it in all browser/platform combinations but they may have tried to pick up any minor bugs if they have been reported. Anyway those browsers account for around 99% of browsers anyway (and the 1% should be used to things not working properly). However, you should test in the Big Three and NS4.x yourself (drop it into site reviews too when you're done) as integrating it into your page can cause some cross-browser problems.

Surrey eh? Don't know that area very well. I checked out your webpage and realised you weren't the Fat Rod I knew!!
