i was trying to put a black box around some design, but NS seems to leave me empty spaces around the box...see: http://kameelah.org/oz/test5.htm

i have the feeling that i won't work under NS!

i tried all the other css attributes, margin, padding, spacing, etc...nothing worked!

help appreciated..

oh well,

i fixed it thanks AusRa for the URL, i guess I tried all these attributes before and still they didn't work with NS 4.xx

Syn, what? an empty url? is this a response to this?

anyway, i solved it by making a simple javascript that can create boxes that works on all browsers... http://kameelah.org/oz/test4.htm
and http://kameelah.org/oz/drawbox.js for the script.

Yeah I had a huge problem with this when trying to do 1px borders via CSS for my work site.(www.techtv.com it had way too many embedded tables and I got tasked with lowering the page size) . If I remeber correctly the big issue was with the setting of the div widths. I think I ended up just controlling the width with the parent cell and let the divs kinda float. We also have always used seperate CSS for netscape and IE as well.

as funny as that would be lallous, no I actually messed up on the link tags, I fixed it though. I put a " in the url tag, which isn't needed in ubb code, I had just finished working on my site which uses a lot of scripts that do use a " in them, like java script... etc..
