Notice how the title image overlaps the top of the content. The funny thing is that it doesn't happen in the template the page was made from:
http://www.umn.edu/cic/index2.html

I've been making web pages for years, how is it that I've never run into this problem before? Can anyone explain what causes this and the best way to fix it?

I know this belongs in All Browsers Suck, but this room gets more traffic and I need a quick answer :P

The problem appears to be in the stylesheet:

Any clues?

For those of you who were curious about this. I narrowed the bug down to the presence of the line-height: 12px declaration in the BODY definition. Only god knows why specifying a line height for the body makes images appear 50 pixels below where they are supposed to, but what a pain in the ass.

Fortunately I am still able to have the line-height: 12px in my P and TD definitions, so that effectively covers all the bases.

jiblet: Does that mean our problem is fixed? I was just going to have a peek in NS4.x but if you fixed it...

I think I noticed in the past that line-height could effect the <br> tags as well. You might want to play around with that setting.
