Preserved Topic: centering layers (Page 1 of 1)

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this ? but if I want to center a layer no matter what screen res it is viewed in, how would I go about doing that. Like I have a layer that I want centered on the page in 800 x 600 but also centered in 1024 x 768. Any suggestions?

adaline: It doesn't work in NS4.x but this is my preferred way of centring with CSS:

Last night I just got it to center in NN4, NN6, and IE. It doesn't quite work in OP5 but I think with a tweak it could.

I get the screen dimensions and center the divs at load time. After that I use the onresize event to recenter as needed.

You know, I really hate you sometimes bugs! :P
