Hi Doc and everyone else

I'm hoping to "reach" you via this forum

I'm enclosing a copy of the email I sent you. Basically I need tutorials online for creating HTML-based special effects such as moving text & menu, etc.

THanks.

Sandra

.....What I'm wondering is, I already know basic HTML, am designing my website (www.internetwriting.net) via Dreamweaver, but am trying to find resources - mainly, tutorials that will tell me how to put in moving menus, moving texts across the webpage, and other HTML based special effects? I can't handle graphical special effects, I need 'light' special effects.

I have to admit, I'd love to learn how to do that special effect you do with your own website, where the viewer click on to the next webpage and then the webpage comes into focus. It's a lovely effect.

CNET used to have "CNET Builder" or something like that and I used to use that quite a bit, but it seems to have disappeared.

Thanks.

Sandra

You seem to have a misunderstanding of HTML. You can not use it to create moving text and menus.
Google for "DHTML".
